ANZ provides a choice between two types of fixed term deposits: Advance Notice and standard term deposits.
The interest rate remains fixed and can be received monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, annually, or at the end of the deposit period, depending on the duration of your intended deposit.
ANZ Bank Deposit Rates
To initiate an ANZ term deposit, you’ll need an existing ANZ Everyday bank account or savings account to facilitate transfers in and out of your term deposit account.
For those who are already ANZ customers and have an existing bank account, you can conveniently open a term deposit through your regular banking app online.
If you’re not yet an ANZ customer, the process involves registering as a customer and first opening either a transaction or savings account before proceeding to set up your term deposit account. This can be done by visiting an ANZ branch or contacting us by phone.
For new account applications, you’ll need to provide 100 points of identification to verify your identity.
Acceptable documents for this purpose include your passport, driver’s license, and an additional form of identification like a utility bill to verify your current address.
