An EFTPOS machine serves as the conduit for processing digital payments, encompassing credit cards, debit cards, and a multitude of items within your digital wallet.
When a customer employs their EFTPOS card by tapping, dipping, or swiping, and subsequently selects either the “Cheque” or “Savings” option, the transaction traverses the EFTPOS network.
Conversely, if a customer opts for a Credit payment, the transaction is routed through Visa or Mastercard, as the EFTPOS network doesn’t support credit transactions.
