Bank of Baroda FASTag is a prepaid tag that allows you to pay toll charges electronically while driving through toll plazas. It is a convenient and secure way to avoid long queues at toll booths.
FASTag is powered by Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, which enables you to drive through toll plazas without stopping or even slowing down.
What is FASTag?
FASTag is a nationwide electronic toll collection (ETC) program launched by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). It is a prepaid tag that is affixed to the windshield of your vehicle.
The tag is embedded with a chip that contains your vehicle’s registration number and FASTag account details.
When you drive through a toll plaza, the RFID reader at the plaza will automatically read your FASTag and deduct the toll amount from your prepaid account.
